Growing up in Western New York, few things got my community as excited as the start of football season. The team colors could be seen all over town— flags on the main street, intricate displays in the local grocery store, and the billboards along the side of the thruway. While I moved away from my hometown, my love for the area, my favorite team, and football season remain a part of who I am.
One of my favorite things about football season is the food that comes with game day. From the tailgate bites (best enjoyed in the chilly fall weather), to the full spread during the game (best enjoyed around fellow fans), to the snacks during the post-game interviews (best enjoyed after your team gets a win), football food makes the season even better.
Whether I’m watching a game from the comfort of my own home or taking some game day-approved bites to a tailgate before watching my favorite team in person, these touchdown-worthy football recipes always make my football season a total win.
