Ingredients

1 head of butter lettuce

10 1/2 oz quality flank steak

1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
>
2 tbsp olive oil
Steps

Thinly slice the steak into long strips.

Shave the cheese into very thin slices.

Remove the outer leaves of the lettuce and choose 8 of the nicest leaves from the center. (Remaining lettuce is not used).

Lay the lettuce on a serving dish.

Heat the oil in a skillet. Cook the steak over high heat for 1 min. Meat should still be pink. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the steak.

Divide the meat among the lettuce leaves. Top with the shaved parmesan.
