1 (20 oz) bag frozen gnocchi

4 tbsp unsalted butter

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1/4 cup chopped parsley

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over medium. Add the gnocchi and stir gently to separate. Cook 3–5 min., until floating and tender. Reserve ⅔ cup pasta water, then drain.

Heat the butter in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high. Add the Parmesan, pepper, and gnocchi. Gradually add reserved pasta water until sauce is a creamy consistency. Season with salt. Garnish with the parsley.
