Caribbean Jerk London Broil

Tender London broil needs only a few hours to marinate in orange juice, lime juice, garlic and jerk seasoning to become a Caribbean-style main dish. This is a great recipe if you’re craving a steak but want a more adventurous and exciting flavor. Serve with rice and peas for a full and complete meal.

Ingredients

> 5 tbsp fresh orange juice
> 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
> 1 tbsp olive oil
> 2 clove large garlic, minced
> 1 lb London broil (top round steak), about 1-inch thick
> Caribbean jerk seasoning

In a large resealable plastic bag combine orange juice, lime juice, oil and garlic. Add steak; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate 4 hours.

Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium-high (350°F-400°F). Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Sprinkle both sides of steak heavily with jerk seasoning, pressing to adhere.

Grill steak 6 minutes per side for medium-rare (145°F) or to desired doneness. Transfer steak to a cutting board; let stand 5 minutes. Thinly slice steak against the grain, and serve.
