Champagne Punch

This citrusy punch combines bubbles and bright flavors for a fun sparkling drink, perfect for a holiday toasting with friends and family.

Ingredients

> 1 cup freshly squeezed blood orange juice or orange juice
> 2 cups ginger ale
> 2 tbsp lime juice
> 2 tbsp simple syrup
> 1 (750 mL) bottle champagne, sparkling wine, or seltzer
> Ice and blood orange slices, to serve

In a pitcher, combine blood orange juice, ginger ale, lime juice, and simple syrup. Add ice to 6 cocktail or coupe glasses and fill each ⅔ full with juice mixture. Top with champagne, sparkling wine, or seltzer. Garnish with blood orange slices.

Tips

To make simple syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Let cool. Transfer to a glass jar or container and seal tightly. Simple syrup will keep in the fridge for up to 1 month.
