3 oz block Monterey Jack cheese

1 English seedless cucumber

3 cherry tomatoes, halved

Mini star-shaped cutter

Short wooden skewers

Cut the Monterey Jack into scant ½-inch slices. With cutter, cut out 6 stars.

With a Y-shaped vegetable peeler or cheese slicer, cut 6 long, wide strips lengthwise from the cucumber.

Thread cucumber strips back and forth onto skewers to create tree shape. Attach cherry halves to wider bottoms of trees, flat sides down. Attach cheese stars to tip of skewers.
