Ingredients

> 1/2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
> 1/4 cup granulated sugar
> 1 tsp vanilla extract
> 1 (8 oz) container refrigerated crescent dough sheet
> 1 cup confectioners' sugar
> 2 tbsp whole milk
> Yellow, green, and purple colored sugar or sprinkles

Steps

1
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
2
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment. Unroll the dough sheet onto parchment. Spread cream cheese mixture on rectangle within ½ inch of the edge. Starting with the long side, roll up jellyroll-style. With a serrated knife, make a cut halfway down the dough for every inch. Shape into a circle, pinching edges to seal.
3
Bake 15–20 min., until golden brown. Let cool slightly. (If adding the plastic baby or dried bean, insert baby or bean now, using a paring knife to make a small cut somewhere in the cake, if needed.)
4
In a medium bowl, stir together the confectioners’ sugar and milk until smooth. Quickly drizzle over cake (all may not be used). Quickly sprinkle on the yellow, green, and purple sugar or sprinkles. Let stand until glaze sets.

Tips

Look in the baby shower section of a party store for a small baby to put in the cake or substitute with a large dried bean. Whoever finds it is crowned king or queen for the day.
Can’t find sprinkles? Use individually colored decorating icing.
