Garlicky Spanish Shrimp

This recipe is inspired by gambas al ajillo, a typical tapas dish. Serve with lots of crusty bread for dipping.

Ingredients

> 1/2 cup olive oil
> 2 tbsp minced garlic
> 1 lb raw medium peeled deveined shrimp
> 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
> 1/4 cup fresh parsley

Steps

Add the oil to a 12-inch skillet.

Stir in the garlic and cook 2–3 min. on medium-low, until golden.

Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Increase the heat to medium and add the shrimp. Cook 4–5 min., until shrimp are cooked through.

Stir in the crushed red pepper.

Finely chop the parsley and sprinkle over shrimp. Serve immediately.
