Grinder Sandwich

Try this loaded classic summer lunch favorite - whether you call it a grinder, sub, hoagie, or hero. Sliced Italian meats and plenty of crunchy vegetables are sure to make this a hit.

Ingredients

> 1 hoagie roll
> 4 reduced-fat provolone cheese slices
> 1/4 head iceberg lettuce
> 3 tbsp reduced-fat mayonnaise
> 2 tbsp Italian dressing
> 1/4 cup sliced onions
> 2 tbsp sliced pepperoncini
> 4 salami slices
> 4 prosciutto slices
> 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
> 1 small tomato, thinly sliced

Preheat oven to 350°. Split the roll in half. Layer the provolone cheese on top of bread and bake 3-5 min., until cheese is melted.

Meanwhile, shred the lettuce. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Italian dressing. Season with salt and pepper. Add the onions, pepperoncini, and lettuce and toss to coat evenly.

Layer the salami and prosciutto on top of melted cheese. Top with Parmesan and bake 2-3 min. more.

Pile lettuce mixture on one side of sandwich. Layer tomato slices and season with salt and pepper. Close sandwich and serve immediately.
