> 1 baguette, cut into 1/2-inch slices
> 3 tbsp olive oil
> 2 cups strawberries, hulled and finely chopped
> 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
> 1 tsp sugar
> 1 cup ricotta
> 1/4 cup loosley packed fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
Set grill to medium-high. Brush the baguette slices on both sides with the oil. Grill 1–2 min. per side, until toasted and grill marks appear. Remove from grill.
In a medium bowl, stir together the strawberries, vinegar, and sugar until sugar dissolves. Season with salt to taste.
Spread the ricotta on baguette slices. Spoon strawberry mixture on top. Season with pepper to taste. Garnish with the basil.
