Honey Mustard Turkey Burgers

This recipe satisfies a burger craving without the red meat. Lean ground turkey and chopped onion form juicy patties, while the savory-sweet combination of honey and mustard adds a flavorful kick. Serve with whole-wheat  buns and all your favorite fixings.

> 1 lb Nature's Promise® Ground Turkey Breast, 94% lean, 6% fat
> 2/3 cup finely chopped onion
> 2 tbsp yellow mustard
> 1 tbsp honey
> 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
> 1/2 tsp garlic powder
> 1 tsp canola oil
> 4 whole-wheat hamburger rolls

For Serving:

> Lettuce
> Sliced tomato
> Sliced onion


Prepare grill for medium heat. In a large bowl, combine turkey, onion, mustard, honey, pepper and garlic powder. Form into 4 patties, 1 inch thick. Lightly brush each patty with oil to prevent sticking. Grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Serve patties on rolls with lettuce, tomato and onion as desired.
