Ingredients

> 3/4 (16 oz) box angel hair pasta
> 4 tbsp olive oil, divided
> Crushed red pepper flakes, as needed (optional)
> 1 tbsp unsalted butter
> 1 lb raw large frozen shrimp, peeled, tails removed, and deveined, thawed
> 3 cloves garlic, minced
> 2 tbsp honey
> 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
> Chopped fresh parsley, to garnish

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain pasta, return to pot, and toss with 3 tbsp oil and crushed red pepper flakes, if desired.

Meanwhile, heat remaining 1 tbsp oil and butter in a 12-inch skillet on medium-high until butter melts. Add the shrimp and stir in the garlic, honey, and cayenne. Cook 4–5 min., until shrimp are cooked through, tossing occasionally.

Divide pasta among plates and top with shrimp and any sauce in the pan. Garnish with the parsley and more crushed red pepper flakes, if desired. Serve immediately.
