4 oz chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups prepared hot chocolate

1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Place chocolate in a shallow microwave-safe dish. Microwave in 30-sec. Intervals, until melted, stirring between intervals. Dip rims of mugs into chocolate to coat. Add sprinkles to a small dish. Dip the rims of the mugs into the sprinkles to coat. Refrigerate until chocolate sets.

Pour hot chocolate into mugs and top with donuts and whipped cream.

Sprinkle with chopped nuts or toasted coconut. Insert candy canes into hot chocolate.
Tips
For homemade hot chocolate, heat 1½ cups milk, ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 tbsp sugar, and ⅓ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips in a saucepan on medium until melted and smooth, stirring.
