Easy fudgy brownies—dressed up for Halloween with chocolate pudding, crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, and some seasonal candies—are a simple dessert or a festive snack.

Ingredients

> 1 (16.3 oz) fudge brownie mix
> 1/2 cup vegetable oil
> 2 large eggs
> 2 tbsp low-fat milk
> 10 chocolate sandwich crème cookies
> 2 chocolate pudding snack cups
> Green cookie decorating icing, as needed
> Candy pumpkins, candy corn, and small mint leaves, to decorate

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with enough parchment to overhang. Make brownie batter with the mix using the oil, eggs, and milk; stir to combine. Transfer batter to prepared pan and spread into an even layer. Bake 30–35 min., until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the edge comes out almost clean. Let cool completely on a wire rack.

When brownies are completely cool, life out of pan by parchment paper. To a large resealable bag, add the chocolate sandwich cookies and crush into crumbs using a rolling pin.

Spread the pudding in an even layer over brownies. Scatter chocolate crumbs on top. Pipe the icing over brownies to resemble vines. Arrange the candy pumpkins and candy corn on top and decorate with the mint leaves. Cut into squares to serve.
