Sleepy Time Latte

This soothing nighttime drink is creamy thanks to a secret ingredient: old-fashioned rolled oats. Peppermint and chamomile teas round out this ultimate cozy drink and help you drift off into slumber.

Ingredients

> 1/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
> 1 cinnamon stick
> 3 cups water
> 1 tbsp honey (optional)
> 1 peppermint tea bag
> 1 chamomile tea bag
> 1/2 cup low-fat milk or plant-based milk
> Ground cinnamon, to garnish (optional)

In a medium saucepan, combine the oats, cinnamon stick, water, honey, if using, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer 15 min. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Cover and steep 5 min. Set a fine-mesh strainer over a heatproof liquid measuring cup. Strain tea into cup, pressing on tea bags with back of a spoon.

While tea is steeping, in a large mug, microwave the milk on high 1 min., in 15-sec. intervals, until just steaming, stirring between intervals. Using a milk frother or immersion blender, blend the warm milk until frothy. Pour tea into 2 mugs. Spoon frothed milk over tea. Sprinkle with the ground cinnamon, if desired.
