Ingredients

> 1 (10 oz) box couscous
> 1 tbsp olive oil
> 1/2 cup pre-diced peppers
> 1 lb ground beef
> 1 tbsp cumin
> 1 tsp cinnamon
> 2 tsp smoked paprika
> 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
> 1 (15.5 oz) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
> 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Prepare the couscous according to package directions.

In a 10-inch skillet, heat the oil on medium-high. Add the peppers, beef, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, and turmeric. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the ground beef 8–10 min., until browned, breaking up with the back of a wooden spoon.

Add the chickpeas to the skillet. Cook 2–3 min., until chickpeas are warmed, stirring often. Serve chickpea mixture over couscous. Garnish with the parsley.
