Medjool dates are so sweet, you'll think they were stored in sugar. A little bit of orange marmalade, however, provides a hint of citrusy tartness, and almonds give them texture. Introduce your family to a taste of the Middle East.

> 12 large medjool dates
> 2 1/2 tbsp orange marmalade
> 1/3 cup salt-free almonds, coarsely chopped

Slice each date down the center and remove the pit. Combine the almonds and marmalade until well mixed. Fill dates with marmalade mixture.
