Ingredients

1 lb top sirloin steak

1 tbsp grated fresh ginger

2 tsp crushed garlic

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/4 tsp salt

1 Tbsp olive oil

Preheat grill or broiler. Trim any excess fat from steak. Combine remaining ingredients and spread evenly over both sides of steak.

Grill steak over direct medium heat or broil 15 to 20 minutes, turning once, or until internal temperature reaches 145F.

Remove from grill or broiler and allow to rest 5 minutes. Slice across the grain into thin slices and serve immediately.
