Turkey Breakfast Patties

Prepare these patties the night before, and wake up to a stick-to-your ribs, protein-packed breakfast. Lean ground turkey forms the bulk of these delicious patties, with red bell pepper and onion for kick. Serve in buns and with French fries and turn them into a lunch treat for the little ones.

Ingredients

> 1 lb ground turkey 93% lean, 7% fat
> 1/2 tsp salt
> 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
> 1/2 tsp paprika
> 1 tsp ground sage
> 1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper
> 1 small onion, finely chopped
> 1 tbsp canola oil

Mix turkey with salt, pepper, paprika, sage, red pepper and onion. Cover and chill overnight. Form into 8 patties. Heat oil in skillet over medium/low heat. Fry patties slowly until browned and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
