Ingredients

> cooking spray
> 1/2 (16 oz) pkg fresh pizza dough
> 1 large egg
> 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
> 1 tsp dried basil
> 1 tbsp dried oregano
> 2 cups tomato sauce

Steps

1
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. Flatten dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 6 equal portions. Roll each piece of dough into a 12-inch log and tie a knot at each end so the breadstick resembles a bone. Transfer to the baking sheet.
2
In a small bowl, whisk the egg. In another small bowl, combine Parmesan, basil, oregano, salt (in moderation), and pepper. Brush the dough with egg wash and sprinkle with Parmesan mixture. Bake for 14–16 min. until golden brown.
3
Meanwhile, put tomato sauce in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in microwave until warm. Serve breadsticks with sauce for dipping.
