Bunny Butt Cupcakes

Bunny butts made of sweet marzipan make the perfect Easter topping to simple cupcakes.

> 7 ounces marzipan candy dough
> 1 cup confectioners' sugar
> 2 tbsp milk
> 1/4 cup shredded coconut
> pink decorating gel
> 3 chocolate sandwich cookies
> 3 plain cupcakes


Roll the marzipan or almond paste out on a clean working surface and shape 3 large spheres (about 1 tbsp each) and 6 smaller spheres (about ½ tbsp each). Divide 3 of the smaller spheres in half. Set the 3 small spheres on the larger spheres to create the bunny tail. Mix the confectioners sugar and the milk, one tablespoon at a time, to make a glaze.
Brush tails with glaze and coat with a dusting of shredded coconut. Shape bunny feet out of the remaining pieces. Use gel frosting to paint on paws. Frost a cupcake with the glaze and top with a crushed chocolate sandwich cookie. Top with the bunny butt. Repeat with remaining ingredients.


Substitute almond paste for marzipan if unavailable
