Grilled Plant-Based Burger with Pineapple

These vegetarian sweet-and-salty burgers are topped with a sesame teriyaki sauce and grilled pineapple for an easy dinner.

Ingredients

> 1 (16 oz) pkg plant-based meat, such as Beyond Meat® Beyond Beef ®
> 2 tsp garlic powder
> 2 tsp paprika
> 5 tbsp Nature's Promise® Sesame Teriyaki Sauce, divided
> 1/2 (18 oz) pineapple, cored, drained
> 4 hamburger buns
> Lettuce and jalapenos (optional)

Steps

Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Add the plant-based meat to a large bowl with the garlic powder, paprika, and 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.

Slice the pineapple into ½-rounds. Place patties and sliced pineapple on grill. Cook 3–4 min. per side, basting pineapple and burgers with remaining teriyaki sauce. Place pineapple slices on bottom halves of burger buns; top with burgers and any remaining teriyaki sauce. Top with the lettuce and jalapenos, if desired
