Ingredients

3 cups shredded Cheddar

2/3 cups Guinness

4 oz cream cheese

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Kosher salt, to taste

Fresh black pepper, to taste

1 (16 oz) tube refrigerated biscuit dough

1 1/2 cups warm water
>
2 tbsp baking soda
>
2 tbsp butter, melted

Add cheddar, Guinness, cream cheese, and garlic powder to a skillet, stir over medium heat until smooth, then season with salt and pepper to taste

Evenly distribute the mixture into a silicone ice tray, then freeze until solid (2 to 3 hours).

Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with wax paper.

Cut biscuit dough into quarters and flatten slightly.

Add one cheese cube to each piece of dough, wrap the edges around the cheese until covered completely, and pinch to seal.

Mix water and baking soda until fully combined.

Place biscuits seam side down on the baking sheet, and brush with baking soda mixture, then melted butter.

Sprinkle with salt, and bake until golden (10 to 12 minutes).
