Ingredients

1 (17.6 oz) pkg hot Italian sausage

1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced
>
1 tsp Dijon mustard
>
1 dash Italian seasoning

4 cups chicken broth
>
1 lb potato gnocchi
>
1 bunch kale, stems removed, torn into small pieces
>
1 cup heavy cream
>
Salt and pepper to taste
Steps

Slice the sausages, add to a large pot, and saute over medium-high heat until browned (about 5 minutes).

Add onion, and saute 4-5 minutes.

Stir in garlic, dijon mustard, and Italian seasoning until fully incorporated.

Add chicken broth and gnocchi, and bring to a boil over high heat.

Reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add kale and cream, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
