Mulled Wine

Warm up with this comforting mulled wine.

> 1 orange
> 1 (750ml) bottle red wine
> 1 clove
> 1 tbsp sugar
> 1 cinnamon stick
> 3 tbsp maple syrup


Cut the orange into slices. In a medium pot on low heat, add the wine, orange slices, clove, sugar, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Cook 15 min., stirring occasionally. Do not bring to a boil; it will cause the alcohol to evaporate.
Remove clove and cinnamon, and serve immediately.
