Pomegranate Hot Toddy

Eat, drink, and be merry with this nonalcoholic version that features cherry and pomegranate juices and a dash of vanilla.

Ingredients

> 1 orange
> 1 lemon
> 8 cloves
> 3 cups pomegranate juice
> 1 cup cherry juice 
> 2 tbsp sugar
> 1 tsp vanilla extract
> 2 cinnamon sticks

Using a vegetable peeler, remove 4 (2- to 3-inch) slices of peel each from the orange and lemon. Stud pieces of peel with the cloves.

Into a medium pot, juice orange and lemon. Stir in orange peels, lemon peels, pomegranate juice, cherry juice, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon sticks.

Heat to a boil on high. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 15 min. Strain and ladle into cups to serve.
