Ingredients

> 1 orange
> 2 tbsp olive oil
> 1 tbsp brown sugar
> 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
> 4 boneless pork chops
> 1 (12 oz) bag fresh green beans
> 1/4 cup roasted salted almonds

Steps

1
Preheat the broiler to high. Zest the orange. In a small bowl, combine 1 tbsp oil, brown sugar, black pepper, salt, and half of the zest.
2
Place the pork chops on one side of a parchment-lined baking sheet. Rub all over with brown sugar mixture. In a medium bowl, toss the green beans with remaining oil and orange zest. Season with salt and additional pepper. Arrange green beans on the other side of the baking sheet in a single layer.
3
Place the baking sheet under the broiler and broil 8–10 min., until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the pork reaches 145°F, flipping pork chops and stirring green beans halfway through.
4
Meanwhile, chop the almonds. Remove baking sheet from oven. Divide pork chops and green beans among 4 plates. Top green beans with almonds. Squeeze the juice from the orange over the pork.
